The New Yorker has answered just where foodies and non-foodies might build a nest. Or rather, how each can find their own kind. With a new service–Eater Dating, the marriage of food site Eater with the dating site “How About We”–singles can post their favorite date ideas, and connect with other singles who share the same interests.
People tend to hate dating sites or at least dread them. But I’ve seen them work wonders for folks, especially for getting better at the lost art of “dating”. And their fill in the blank question is great…. “How about we eat brainfood together?” “How about we eat oysters, kale, and lamb?”
I didn’t know about Eater Dating, but I’ll toss it out there next time I get a lonely, but lovely, foodie on my couch hoping for love.
