Researchers have found that we have the ability to influence both neuroplasticity and neurogenesis throughout our entire lives, not just when we are young.
Neurogenesis tends to occur in the region of the brain called the “hippocampus” or, the brain’s memory and emotional processing center. The hippocampus is affected in those with depression and anxiety.
In this course we will explore the many, specific ways that you can help heal your modern brain by harnessing the new science of neuroplasticity and neurogenesis – and the factors in our lives that can best optimize our mental fitness and mental health.
