Module 17: Identifying Your Sleep Demons
Sleep should be effortless and something that happens naturally but unfortunately for ⅓ of the population, falling asleep and staying asleep is anything but easy.
Getting good quality sleep starts with sleep hygiene, or the habits, choices, and environment that influences the quality of your sleep.
The idea of sleep hygiene is so empowering because it is something over which we have a lot of control. By being intentional about our routines, we can experience a tremendous improvement in sleep quality.
In this module we discussed a few sleep demons such as light exposure, smartphone use, excess noise, and caffeine consumption but there are many other factors to consider as well.
Ultimately my recommendation for you and, I hope a result of this course, is that you develop your own personal nighttime routine and stick to it every night.
